March Moments

March with a busy month and I posted about the big events...here are a few more moments we want to remember.

Nate was working on a poster project for school and then the kids worked together on this.

We had power washed the deck a few weeks ago and I was waiting for a few solid days of sun in the forecast before staining it. One night after soccer practice I decided it was time to stain the deck and recruited the kids to help (Mesh was out of town at a conference.) We worked from 6:30-9:30 and finished the side deck. Nate stayed by my side working hard the whole time. Ri and Ben helped at the beginning and then made signs to remind people to stay off the deck.  Great team effort!

Easter

We had a beautiful Easter at home dying eggs, hunting for eggs, attending Easter Vigil Mass, and enjoying goodies from the Easter baskets.

RIley Isabel is 8!

Riley Isabel turned eight years old on March 14th and then today we celebrated with an indoor swim party. Ri and her friends had a great time! We can't believe our Riley is eight. She is strong, smart, hilarious, loves traditions, values girl time, spends a lot of time watching One Direction music videos, and is an amazing defender in soccer! We love you Ri!

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the Irish Iyers!

Riley has been wearing the same St. Patrick's day bow for 9 years now, since she was 3 days old! 

Riley had to get 3 teeth pulled today but first I had to take her into work with me for a meeting. On a whim, we stopped at an ice skating rink nearby at 9AM and it happened to be open so we had a little fun before going to the dentist.

Before and after the dentist...the tooth fairy and a Leprechaun came tonight! :)

Go Sounders! We had a great time at the Seattle Sounders soccer game eating lots of food and cheering on our team.
