Summer Nights

Mesh typically has to work late so dinner and bath time can be a little crazy around here. And when Mesh works nights there is a strong chance you will find me eating a large bowl of cookie dough ice cream or two on the couch as a reward for completing the daunting task of getting all 3 kids to bed! Then of course I sneak upstairs several times to watch them sleeping peacefully -Mesh and I are so blessed!
When Riley and Nate give each other this look I know they are about to be up to something.

In this case, splashing Mommy and Ben.

Ben takes a bath first and then chills next to me while Nate and Ri are in the tub.

All clean and in their pajamas...note Riley almost always puts a dress on over her pj's...girly girl!

A sweet little smile from Baby Ben!

Summer Days

Day Out with Thomas - this was our second year going to Snoqualmie to meet Thomas the Train and go for a short train ride. Lots of fun!

I painted Riley's nails for the first time - purple of course! Joey-note that I am wearing the silly bandz that you told me were all the rage on the East Coast...the trend has yet to hit Issaquah but I'm sporting them for you ;).

Nate fell at a park and got 4 stitches - he was such a trooper at the ER.

Benny Ben's bears cheer him on during tummy time...and look at that cute baby bottom!

Ben wearing his first pair of shorts.

Red, White & Blue

We had a great day despite the gloomy weather. We spent the morning in Carnation, WA (a small town near ours) where we walked/biked in the children's parade and then watched a parade. The kids are now just getting settled for bed and Mesh and I plan to watch the Seattle fireworks from our backyard...if we can see them through the clouds. Happy 4th of July from the Pacific NW!
