Noni's visit/end of summer

We had a busy end of August with Noni visiting when I returned to work for the school year. The kids also had their last soccer tournaments of the summer and soccer parties!

GHHS 20 year reunion

I had my 20 year high school reunion this weekend. I can't believe it has been that long...It was amazing to spend a weekend catching up with classmates in Gig Harbor. Till next time dear friends!

Ludlow Visit

We miss having the Ludlows close by in Gig Harbor but so excited when they come home from California for a visit. We had two great days on the lake!

First RV trip!

The kids have been begging us to rent an RV for vacation so we finally caved!  Where did we go? To a three day soccer tournament in a small town about an hour north of Seattle. We parked it w/ other families on the side of the soccer fields, not too far from a fish factory. Yes-we go all out when we deliver on our promises to the children.  It was an amazing weekend with 10 soccer games between the three kids, friends around all hours of the day, and the Minnie Winnie!  

Ramesh had to work the day we needed to pick up the RV to head to the tournament so mom was in charge of driving there. I was quite nervous driving an RV for the first time but we made it!

We are back home from the IronMan and soaking up the summer fun in the Pacific Northwest. It feels so great to be done and have lots of time to relax, recover and play!

Mt. Rainer was a majestic back drop to Ri and Ben's soccer jamboree.

Nate spent the weekend of the soccer tournament w/ Gramps in Gig Harbor.

Kate was in Seattle for a month doing an away rotation at the UW.  Kids loved taking her to dinner at Daniel's on Elliott Bay.
