January happenings

January came and went so quickly - no big events, but a lot of fun hanging out at and near home.

Ben loves the bath! Nate has graduated to taking showers (he does it all by himself from start to finish - he's loving his independence) so now Riley and Ben have bath time together. Ri likes being the big one in the tub.

Riley, Nate and I went roller skating one Saturday. It brought back a lot of great memories from my childhood and the kids had fun, but aren't quite old enough yet. We spent the majority of the time on the ground-but we shared a lot of laughs!

Nate did great at the dentist and got a "green light award" for clean teeth. When it was time for x-rays he told me I could just wait in the room for him and he'd be back soon. Ha!

Bedtime was finally triumphant over Superman and Superprincess (aka Batman and Batprincess, aka Naters and Rileybell, aka the duo that never wants to go to bed).

Airplane!

Making pb&j sandwiches. Nate, Riley, and Ben...well not really Ben yet ;)...have been helping out in the kitchen a lot lately. The grand plan is to get them to eat a wider variety of foods which is slowly, slowly, slowly working.
