NYC Photo
Last year on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, I wrote about Remembering what it was like being there that day and how the city became my home. I was cleaning out our hall closet this weekend and came across a box of photos. This photo made my heart race and took my breath away:
This was before the digital camera days and the date is stamped on the side (click the photo to enlarge and it shows up): 9/8/01...my 23rd birthday and 3 days before the towers no longer stood there. We remember, we always will.

I have that picture framed in our den. So crazy that we took that. That was how we found our way in the village all the time.
Neen - so thankful for your friendship every day, but especially today!
