September brought with it many changes including new schools for four of us, but we survived and thrived by the end of the month. Nate and Riley are at the same school, Ben started preschool, and the Early Childhood Program that I have been serving as the school psychologist at for four years moved to a new elementary school. We're also keeping busy with sports, piano, homework, and time with family and friends. This Friday night we came home after Riley's soccer game and I was so happy I didn't have to pack lunches for the next day. Then after a few moments, I realized how lucky I am that we have lunches to pack. The hustle and bustle of September had started to wear me down, but now I'm feeling recentered and grateful for our many blessings.
