I thought I'd write a post to do a little December catch up:
First off, our elf on the shelf Belf has been up to no good (thanks to the things he saw his buddies doing on facebook):
Mesh was named the Seattle Children's Hospital Starbucks customor of the month...dude drinks a LOT of coffee:
Santa came by on a firetruck and we got to meet some firemen. Nate was the special child at school that week and got to keep the class stuffed frog at home. Freddy is featured in these pics for the class book. Nate, Ben and I followed the truck around the neighborhood, Riley didn't like all the noise and decided to stay home w/ Dad.
And for star of the week, Nate could bring in anything he wanted for show-and-tell and he chose Gramps! His clues were he's really funny, he's old, and he starts with "G". The four guesses from the class were 1) an octopus 2) a gingerbread house 3) a gorilla 4) a toilet (gotta have a clown in every class). Too cute!
Ben moved to a toddler bed...for a day! He took a nap in it just fine but that night he screamed for about one second, opened his door, walked out, looked me straight in the eye and said "No nigh nigh Mama". So after a little rocking, back in the crib he went. Nate and Ri moved to a bed at this age but it was a long transition and since there's nobody coming along that needs the crib, he will stay in it for a while longer.
Nate had his first practice in the kindergarten basketball league:
We visited Santa and his reindeer at the Cougar Mountain Zoo:
We went with our friends Zarry, Habib, Nima and Kian to ride the Santa train!
