On March 1st, Riley declared that she was "the birthday month girl" and we've been celebrating her turning a whole hand in grand style. She had an "almost sleepover party" last Friday with 18 high energy guests here in their pajamas. They danced, tried on make-up, decorated coin purses, watched a short movie in their sleeping bags, had doughnuts and then went home ready for bed. I can't take any credit for this adorable idea, it was the same party Kara threw for Grace in December so we just took the idea from Gig Harbor to Issaquah. :) Then today I volunteered in Riley's class and then took Riley and her two best friends she's known her whole five years of life out on an adventure of their choosing. We ended up painting pottery, eating ice cream and playing at Wiggle Works - perfection! We topped off the day with dinner at Red Robin with our boys.
